bmibaby are to increase UK flights from Glasgow and Edinburgh Airport to Leeds/Bradford Airport later this summer.
The new flights will have a re-vamped timetable, enabling business travellers and city break tourists more time to spend in the West Yorkshire city or vice versa in Edinburgh and Glasgow. Operating 2 flights daily from Scotland to Northern England will improve passenger flexibility, thus giving the airline a greater advantage over its competitors.
bmi Regional‚s Commercial Director said, “bmi Regional has been the UK’s most punctual airline for 4 years running and through improved schedules and fantastic rewards for Diamond Club members, we strive to provide business and leisure travellers with the best possible level of service and added benefits.”
Whilst bmi expands on domestic flights, from Glasgow to Leeds/Bradford airport a larger aircraft will be introduced, also in a bid to expand and develop domestic links.
