Nano breaks, rise of the single night holiday
Mar 9th
A growing number of Brits are booking ‘nano breaks’, one night holidays in a bid to keep travelling throughout these tough economic times.
According to a booking agency, the number of British travellers searching for one night holidays in January was up by 29% on the same period last year. Searches for nano breaks in Bournemouth were up 140%, 20% in London, 82% in Edinburgh and 140% in Brighton.
International nano break destinations are Venice and Marrakech, increased by more than 80% in January, compared to the same months last year.
Holidays are seen as a right, not a luxury and the rise of the search for nano breaks is the evidence of holidaymakers, de terminated to keep travelling.
