Mexico will invest £6m in tourism

The Mexican government has announced it will invest a total of six million pounds in tourism infrastructure and raising the Mexico’s profile as a holiday destination. £3.5 million will be spent on improving infrastructure – over 50% more than in 2007. And £2.5 million will spent on Mexico’s image as tourism destination. Money will be spent on popular tourist resort as well a new eco-tourism project, and cultural initiatives.
