Feb 1st
The world‚s fastest man, Usain Bolt, has been unveiled as the star of the Jamaican Tourist Board‚s ‚Project Gold 2010‚ tourism campaign – a new project aimed at boosting the number of people taking holidays in Jamaica.
New commercials, which will be shown from February 8 2010, feature Bolt running on golden beaches, playing golf and in other scenes depicting the beauty of the island.

The television ads are in three parts: The first, titled ‘Stop’, follows Usain Bolt through a day of training, as he runs through the countryside, stopping to view the scenery; in ‘Pose’, other Jamaicans are seen giving Bolt’s signature “lightning bolt‚ victory; and ‘Speed’, where Bolt is seen sprinting from location to location.
