The incredible views of the Eyjafjallajökull Volcano

Whilst the ash from the now famous Eyjafjallajökull volcano continued to cause holiday chaos across many European airports, there is no getting away from the fact that it’s an amazing sight to see.
Sean Stiegemeier decided it was a vision worth sharing…….. “So I saw all of these mediocre pictures of that volcano in Iceland nobody can pronounce the name of, so I figured I should go and do better”.
And so he did, taking him 4 days to get there, he beautifully shot the following scene displaying the cause of all recent air travel problems.

Results for World Airport Awards

The results for the world‚s best airports are in. The survey is carried out by London based firm Skytrax, who are an aviation research institute. The total respondent‚s = 8.6 million, the highest number since the survey began.
Passengers look closely at airports and airlines annually, evaluating certain criteria for each sector, which may include:
‚ Quality of handling and services
‚ Staff courtesy
‚ Staff efficiency
‚ Shopping facilities
‚ Leisure amenities
‚ Transit facilities.
The world‚s top 10 airports are:

2. Hong Kong
3. Singapore
4. Zurich
5. Munich
6. Kansai
7. Kuala Lumpur
8. Amsterdam
9. Centrair Nagoya
10. Aukland.
