P&O Cruises, Azura maiden voyage

The maiden voyage of P&O Cruise lines new ship, Azura, has a list of celebrities lined up to perform on its first journey.

Opera singer Russell Watson, musical theatre’s Gary Wilmot and Mike Alexander, Claire Sweeney – TV personality and many more celebrities yet to be revealed.

Travelmole reports, P&O Cruises’ managing director Carol Marlow said: “Azura will offer the classic service, quality and entertainment associated with cruising at its best.

“Those of us travelling on her maiden cruise will be treated to an array of excellent British entertainment to start Azura’s inaugural season in style.”

The maiden voyage departs 2 days after the naming ceremony – by Royal Ballet star, Darcey Bussell and will commence on 12th April calling at, Katakolon (Greece), Malaga (Spain), Korcula (Croatia), Gibraltar, Corfu, Venice (Italy) and Dubrovnik (Croatia).
