Costa Cruises: around the world or Red Sea Riveriera

Costa Cruises has announced the Costa Allegra and Costa Marina in winter 2010/11 will be based in the Red Sea in Sharm El Sheikh. They both will do seven day sailings with the Costa Allegra departing on Mondays and the Costa Marina departing Thursdays.
TravelMole reports, “The itinerary includes three days in Sharm El Sheikh and calls at Adabiyah and Safaga in Egypt, Aqaba in Jordan and Eilat before returning to Sharm El Sheikh.
In late December 2011 the newly launched Costa Deliziosa will commence a one hundred night world cruise from Savona, Italy.
New options on Costa Cruises in the Mediterranean in summer and winter are in addition to current cruises. The new Costa Favolosa is due to debut in 2011 summer time, while the Costa Fascinosa will link with the rest of the fleet in spring 2012.

P&O Cruises, Azura maiden voyage

The maiden voyage of P&O Cruise lines new ship, Azura, has a list of celebrities lined up to perform on its first journey.
Opera singer Russell Watson, musical theatre‚s Gary Wilmot and Mike Alexander, Claire Sweeney TV personality and many more celebrities yet to be revealed.
Travelmole reports, P&O Cruises‚ managing director Carol Marlow said: “Azura will offer the classic service, quality and entertainment associated with cruising at its best.
“Those of us travelling on her maiden cruise will be treated to an array of excellent British entertainment to start Azura‚s inaugural season in style.
The maiden voyage departs 2 days after the naming ceremony by Royal Ballet star, Darcey Bussell and will commence on 12th April calling at, Katakolon (Greece), Malaga (Spain), Korcula (Croatia), Gibraltar, Corfu, Venice (Italy) and Dubrovnik (Croatia).
