BAA to invest in Glasgow Airport

Over the next couple of years BAA are said to be spending ‚£25 million investing in improvements to Glasgow Airport, ‚£12 million to be spent in the next year and ‚£13 million in 2011.
Improvements to the airport will benefit passengers, as plans include;
‚ A terminal pier upgrade
‚ New food court
‚ Facility enhancements in the main terminal building.
Amanda McMillan, MD for Glasgow Airport recently said, “This investment package is good news for passengers and good news for the economy of Glasgow and the west of Scotland, particularly at a time of recession.
The aim of the development and improvements is make passenger experience better as well as make the taxiway and runway infrastructure more efficient, which will lead to the operations of the airport running more smoothly.
Holiday destinations from Glasgow Airport include; Canaries, Bulgaria, Turkey, Egypt, Madeira, Portugal and the USA.

Russell Brand and Katy Perry have flown to India to enjoy a romantic holiday together in one of the world most luxurious and romantic settings.
The comedian and pop singer started dating in September 2009 and rumours are already circulating about a possible engagement. Katy posted a picture of the pair in-front of the Taj Mahal monument on her Twitter (micro-blogging site), a landmark known for romanticism.
The famous couple are said to be enjoying their holiday in India which has been visited recently by the likes of Goldie Hawn and Lindsay Lohan.
