The UK cruise market according to experts will be bigger than ever, with more choice of destination, larger ships to choose from, experts are predicting an ‚upswing‚ on this particular market in the travel industry.
This year alone the cruise industry has seen a boost in interest as well as sales and experts don‚t think this trend will go away soon, especially with more UK holidaymakers showing interest in cruise holidays.
According to eTurboNews, “The Passenger Shipping Association said that about 1.5 million people in Britain took to cruises in 2008. Despite the huge economic downturn, these same kind of figures were seen in 2009 and are expected again in 2010.
With travel agents and tour operators reducing prices for cruise holidays, the affordability of a cruise holiday has opened up the market to more UK holidaymakers than ever before.
