Less Doom in New Year Holiday Drive
A positive start to the year for the travel, tourism and hospitality industries as bookings for this month alone are reportedly up on holidays, to Turkey and Egypt as well as other long haul destinations.
Many deals by tour operators and travel agencies are what has caused the surge in bookings, according to ABTA 68% of people surveyed are planning to increase their budget so they can spend similar amount of money on this year‚s holiday compared to previous years.
TravelMole reported “the ABTA Holiday Value Report found that with 66% of the population claim a ‚huge emotional high‚ from a summer holiday‚.
A break from general routine of everyday life can release new energy. With holidays pre-booked, many people can remain positive and look forward to the coming months and forget about the current gloom, and have a much more positive outlook on the coming months.
