‘Green’ Holiday Tips

Environmentally friendly and ‘green’ holidays aren’t necessarily going to cost vast amounts of money, there are many things you can do without harming the environment, wherever the destination.

Here are a few tips:

- Whenever you book a holiday you can offset carbon emissions either on the website you booked it on, or use a search engine if you booked by other means.

- If hiring a car, chose the most economically friendly option, if not use public transport, bicycles or walk

- Drink tape water if and where possible

- Take spare re-usable bags when you go shopping, this saves using plastic bags

- Buy local products, not only will the local economy benefit, your budget and holiday spending money may also benefit.
