Brits choose Christmas breaks abroad

A recent survey by a travel search engine has revealed that around 60% of UK travellers are planning to celebrate Christmas in holiday destinations abroad this year.

Around 45% said they were planning to enjoy the festive season in a warm destination while over a third of respondents said they would be taking a long-haul flight of over 10 hours to reach their desired resort.

A Christmas beach break is the chosen destination of around 40% while 23% said they would be taking a European city break this Christmas.
