Revival on the cards for package holidays
In the wake of much uncertainty in the travel world over the last six months many travel industry experts are predicting an increase in the popularity of package holidays, as travellers demand more security from their holiday deals.
ATOL-protected package holidays provide consumers with financial protection in the event of an airline failing, whereas customers buying flights or booking hotels direct do not have this protection.
Traditionally package holidays have catered for smaller budgets, but it is predicted that the increased interest in this type of holiday booking will see travel providers becoming more sophisticated and offering more up-market and luxurious package deals.
