Where are the best beaches in Europe?
The best beaches in Europe can be found by the Mediterranean, in Spain, France, Portugal and Italy, according to an expert study of Europe’s beaches.
Considering various criteria, website Onbeach.com specialists considered European beaches and ranked a top five amongst them:
1. Platja S’Amarador, Mallorca, Spain
2. Cala Salada, Ibiza, Spain
3. Baie de Rondinara, Corsica, France
4. Praia de Sao Rafael, Algarve, Portugal
5. Port Nuova, Puglia, Italy
“Our teams have travelled to every single beach in France, Spain, Portugal and Italy. We have evaluated all beaches independently using over 100 criteria such as cleanliness, facilities and suitability for swimming,” said managing director Gerben van Dam.
