Wireless access in the air?

Holidaymakers probably won’t have much need for it, but young business travellers want wireless internet access while flying. Almost half of business travellers surveyed recently said they wanted wireless access in the air.

Mobile phones are generally not welcomed by passengers, but internet access seems to be in great demand.

The survey found that two thirds of 18 to 30 year old passengers want internet access, while 41% of 51 to 65 year olds would welcome it.

The survey conducted by Barcleycard Business polled 3,000 business travellers.
